MAY FAVOURITES

You know what time of the month it is... (no not that one) but the good ole Monthly Favorites. This month is right mixture with a couple of previously unimaginable items I've totally been digging over May. Without further ra-do, let's get crack a lackin...

NO7 Beautiful Skin Melting Gel Cleanser: About a month ago, I went wandering into Boots (as you do) with a cheeky £3 off No7 Voucher in hand and ended up walking out with this little bottle of joy. I'll put my hands up and admit I'm new to the whole No7 Skincare offerings, but before you know it I'll be expert because I'm totally in awe of this. If you want Plump, Smooth and Juicy skin... look no further. This is a pleasure to use too, bargain? I think so.

Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream: Now I'm not a big CC, BB cream (roll in the A B C jokes...) as I'm more of a full coverage gal due to my oh so fabulously ex-acne skin. But I've found myself really reaching for this as a day to day base paired with the Maybelline The Eraser for a little extra coverage. This honestly corrects my redness bad boy style and completely rocks my world (cringe)

The Body Shop Early Harvest Raspberry Body Scrub: Like Jam? Like smooth skin? Bored of Body Scrubs? we've got a solution. If you're a big kid like me, you'll understand my excitement when I had the thought of practically rubbing jam all over my body... oh yeah baby. Not only does this look like jam, but it smells like it too. Oh, I can't say enough good things about this new release from The Body Shop. Get shopping ladies and gentleman!

The Ebay Brush: So, if you've been around this space, youtube or the whole blogging community over the last few weeks you'll have heard the good ole Vivianna Does Makeup and ICovetThee raving about the Louise Young LY34 Super Foundation Brush. Well what little bargain hunter found a cheaper alternative off Ebay? Yes, me. You heard it! Now, I'm a loyal Flat Foundation Brush lover but this has completely converted me (incase you can't tell how well loved it looks in that picture). It swipes on foundation like nothing else, so quickly, blends perfectly. It even works fab for concealer! This is definitely worth the hype, oh yes.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Cool & Creamy Wash: Estee from Essie Button hit the nail on the head with this one by saying it really does feel like your face has been washed with a Pressure Washer. Oh yes. This rocks, okay? It cleans your skin like nothing else, fights off those blemishes and makes you feel a million dollars. For only a fiver, you can't go wrong. Go and pick one up... Now!

Dove Dry Shampoo: Anyone who has known me for a while will know I'm a complete bath lover, clean freak and always want to look my best all the time. Now I've always absolutely hated the idea of Dry Shampoo, never thought I'd look clean etc etc. But one day I caved and gave this a go, but by golly am I pleased I did. This is the one and only Dry Shampoo I've tried, so I can't really compare this to any other but it hasn't let me down at all. None of the white powdery hair look going on, just fresh smelling hair with a bit of volume... you can't go wrong really!

Trevor Sorbie Straight Conditioner: For any fellow GHD obsessive, you'll know that guilty feeling of running that hot iron through  your hair thinking of how much sooner you'll get those dead ends, which means hair dressers which means shorter hair... Oh yeah, we've all been there. But this baby literally leaves my hair poker straight. Now I've not got curly hair, just a few waves if I let it go naturally or just a few kinks if dry it myself (probably my terrible blow drying skills...) but honestly, ever since I've been using this I haven't even touched my GHDs except for dry shampoo days. Pinch me, I might be dreaming!

Yes To Carrots Face Wipes: A complete loyal Simple Facial Wipe convert? Well, after many years I believe I have found an alternative. These face wipes are so gentle on the skin, feel much 'wetter' than the Simple ones, and glide over the skin like nothing else. They leave your skin feeling so smooth, soft and refreshed. They also take off Mascara pretty darn well, so give them a go. They're on offer at Boots at the moment... on £2 something so shoot down there and see if you're a convert like me too!

Nike Roshe Run in All White: This month, I've really been hitting up my exercising. Not to get all emosh, but it literally wouldn't have been possible without these. They're honestly the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn in my life. Imagine walking on a blow up bed but with balance... oh yeah baby. The only thing I'm kinda regretting is getting them in all white, because my glorious foundation hands are already smearing themselves all over them... *cry* All the more excuse to get myself another pair, right?

Marie Claire Magazine: This may seem a bit bizarre as a favourite but honestly I've been absolutely loving the Marie Claire Magazine. Whilst on my pursuit of trying to find the Allure Magazine (anyone know where Allure is stocked in Cambridge?) I had to 'compromise' and go for the good ole Marie Claire but no regrets at all. It has so many interesting stories about everything from hair to beauty to fashion... it's basically like a blog in a magazine.
