EXQUISITE (AKA MY DESIGN COMPANY) GETS A NEW LOOK

Visit The Website: www.weareexquisite.com

So, you're probably thinking... (1) where the heck have you been? and (2) you've got your own company?! I certainly have and it's recently got a whole new look, so I guess you could say that's where I've been hiding. I'm a great believer that change is good, and starting a new year and new approach with a complete new look for your company is a good start. Don't get me wrong, I'm not first to sign up to rebranding yourself all the time but when you've got exciting new projects coming up, you've got to look your best and be satisfied with the company you're representing in order to sell yourself to the best of your ability.

WHY THE DRY CLEANERS ROCKS

If you know me, you'll know that I'm a complete sucker for a good jacket. Especially a Zara jacket, because let's be honest... who doesn't love Zara? Well on my trip to Cornwall at the latter part of last year, I noticed that once I got back my jackets just didn't feel clean. With all the travelling and intense walks and endless amounts of visits to fish mongers, my coats were well due a wash.

IS MOROCCAN OIL REALLY ALL THAT GREAT?

Morrocan Oil, Argan Oil, Keratin Oil... those words have been floating around these spaces for quite some time but are they really as kick ass as everyone makes out? Now, don't get me wrong, there are a million and one alternatives to the original Moroccan Oil. I was contemplating getting it for a while as it isn't exactly like picking up a cheeky bottle of Vitamin Water from the shop at the Train Station.

WHAT DRUGSTORE DRY SHAMPOO SUITS YOU?

I'll be honest, I'm really lazy with washing my hair. However, isn't it just one of the best things having fresh and clean hair? Well, the new way to achieve that is by the all mighty Dry Shampoo. As far as I'm aware, this wasn't invented until that long ago but what a great idea. Like heck a load of respect for whoever invented that, genius. But with so many brands jumping on the band wagon and creating their very own version of Dry Shampoo. But they all tend to do different things and perform well. So, I have just the kit to have all you sorted...

CLEANING YOUR MAKEUP BRUSHES

One of my New Years Resolutions is to clean my makeup brushes more often, I mean I'm really bad at it. I've been known to leave them dirty for a good month or so, which I know ladies, it's grim... right? But it's just so time consuming. Over the years, I've collected a heck load of brushes ranging from cheap eBay ones to trusty Real Techniques ones to the low and behold Zoeva Rose Gold Collection. All of them are great, but when you have about 50 brushes clogged with never ending products, finding the time to clean them thoroughly is really the last thing I want to be doing. But after much experience I've found a routine which will have you as sorted as Simon... (that's a new one - hmm, anyway...)

BEHIND THE SCENES OF A BEAUTY BLOGGER

Recently, blogging has just gone crazy alongside Youtube and Vines and all the rest of it. However, as with most things, a lot of thought goes behind each little post, photo and design asset within your little corner of the internet. Everyone is unique, and don't get me wrong that's pretty darn awesome, but I'm almost certain that any of you fellow Beauty Bloggers out there will relate to pretty much all of these traits. If not, I guess I'm just another weirdo stage ahead. But cringe worthy giggles at the ready...

SHAVING, SHAVING, SHAVING...

Shaving, AKA the bain of every girls life, let's be honest. I'm kinda lazy when it comes to things like scrubbing and masking but when it comes to shaving (as much as I hate it and it's an absolute pain) I always do it without fail. Nothing quite like a turn off than legs as hairy as a gorilla, let's not be that gal. But I feel like shaving is something that's not really discussed enough. It's something all of us has to do but there's no razors that are ever recommended or any other alternatives discussed other than how much waxing kills (Fact of the day: I've never been waxed... ever). So I thought I'd introduce you to my routine...

HELLO 2015, BUT FIRST LETS CHAT 2014...

If you're a regular to these spaces, you'll have noticed that I've been playing hide and seek around my little corner of the internet recently. Not going to lie, the biscuit tin and kettle has been where I've been at. But joking aside, I'm really pulling myself together recently and that's a lot to do with just having some me time. I think everyone needs that time once in a while to take a bit of time out from work, projects and all those things that keep you busy to reflect on what's working, what's not, what needs to be reassessed and just have a good ole clear out and change before we all get bored.

A FACE MASK AND EXFOLIATOR? WINNER...

Now I don't know about you but I am a complete and utter Face Mask junkie. I absolutely love the whole process of it, perfect for your typical pamper evening. But when I heard about not only a Self Heating Face Mask but an Exfoliating one too, I thought I was dreaming. But Soap and Glory's new No Clogs Allowed Deep Pore Detox Face Mask really means business.
