Hey, you know that 'Wet Look Makeup Look' that all those Beauty Editors, Style Icons and Makeup Artists are banging on about in the press, on their blog and on every form of social media you can think of? Yeah, I've found a way to achieve that, on a budget. Yep - you can thank me later. But this is totally effortless, will have you leaving the house in 10 minutes, rocking a completely awesome style and having plenty of money still in the bank. You game?
First up, the eyeshadow. Of course, L'oreal are the ones to go to in this department with their (not-so but still fairly) new Colour Riche Eyeshadow Collection. I have mine stuck to my lids pretty much every day. I usually layer this underneath a Cranberry eyeshadow, then layer Mac Woodwinked on top to give a slightly more wet, smokey look to your average woodwinked look - ya know? Pair this eyeshadow with a Urban Decay 24 Hour Eye Pencil and you'll be off to a gooden. Rimmel London Scandaleyes Eyeliners are a great budget option too.
Of course - base, base, base. The Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation will have you covered for a natural, jouey and even base that will look great for daytime, or evening. Wanna add a bit of Bourjois Bronzing Primer on top (or under neath even for an uber subtle look), absolute winner. Cream blush is always a go to as well for a wet look, the Frat Boy Cream Blush are pretty darn awesome too.
Now - the star of the show, the lips. I have never ever came across a lipgloss that gives this much of a bold, yet nude look to the lips. This will have your lips looking all things wet, but lasts forever and isn't sticky. You dreaming? Nuh uh. Thanks to Birchbox for finding this beauty for me, AKA Model Co's Lip Lacquer. Their collection is utterly stunning and pair this on top of your ultimate nude lipstick or a fair share of Charlotte Tilbury's Lip Liner in Pillowtalk and you'll be having those pouty, bigger lips that only Kimmy K has pulled off until that day. Promise.
