With the hot weather coming out, our oh so sexy pores making their regular appearance and makeup melting down our faces it only calls for a kick ass primer. Here's my recent primers which have seriously locked all my makeup in for a good, poreless and flawless makeup day.
Of course first off, we need to minimise those pores down to a T with The Body Shop Tea Tree Pore Minimiser (see what I did there *pats self on back*). This is great for blemished skin, so The Body Shop claims, but I can only imagine it to be as great on all skin types. This almost-clear gel melts right into your skin making your pores no more. And it's only £6.50, bargain. Goodbye Benefit Porefessional...
If you're anything like me, you will have been through your fair share of rubbish primers and the Maxfactor Facefinity All Day Primer most certainly doesn't fit in that category. This primes your base like an absolute don and quite literally seals all that goodness right into your skin. It's not too gel like nor too lotion like - just perfect, right smack bang in the middle. Nice one Max Factor, you've done well.
I welcome you, Benefit Stay Don't Stray Eyeshadow Primer AKA the longest lasting eyeshadow primer... ever! This little cream of beauty not only camouflages those veiny eyelids (come on, I can't be the only one!), keeps our eyeshadow staying all day and works as an all round great primer / base / liquid of magic. Get your hands on this asap ladies, it's a winner.
