LETS SAY BONJOUR TO BOURJOIS

Bourjois used to really conquer the drugstore with their foundations, particularly in 2013. With all the hype going around, I thought I'd give a couple of their foundations a go to see whether they really are what everyone claims...

Now, I've always been completely dependant on foundation, due to being prone to acne (#prayforbrook). So I've tried many, many, many drugstore and high end foundations. Yet Bourjois seem to come pretty high in my 'go to foundation' list, especially in Spring / Summer as it isn't too heavy on the skin!

Their consistency is just right, not too runny not too thick- making them easily blend-able (particularly with a Buffing Brush of your choice) and don't make you look like you've got foundation 'caked on' (I mean, who wants that?)

The difference between the two is that, the Healthy Mix is slightly higher coverage to the Happy Light and the Happy Light comes in a lighter shade (N.50). However, they both leave your skin with a healthy glow (hence the names).

The only negatives of them, is that the colour range isn't all that great. I tend to find that after around 4 hours the foundation wears off and tends to cling to my nose, eyebrows and chin (ew!) Also, I'm almost pretty convinced that Happy Light caused me to break out. I was slightly sussed, but when Gh0stparties mentioned it in one of her videos, it clicked. So if you have acne prone skin maybe consider that when you're checking out the Happy Light formula.

However they are a bargin for those of you who have around a £10 budget and aim for a glowing, youthful look! Definitely a must have for Spring and Summer

Let me know what your favourite drugstore foundation is, as I'm always eager to try new products out!
