BOBBI BROWN: NECTAR & NUDE EYESHADOW PALETTE

With those late nights, endless glasses of vino and a good boogie to a bit of Justin Timberlake over the weekend I'm sure that you're experiencing post Bank Holiday Weekend blues and an extreme case of tired eyes. So nothing quite better than a kick ass, easy smokey eye to wake us all up and give us that wide eyed look that we so wish came naturally on this groggy Tuesday. Notebooks, Purses and Makeup at the ready - let's see what Bobbi Brown has to offer us in her recent release.

Now, maybe not exclusive but still pretty recent is Bobbi's release of her Nectar and Nude Eye Palette. I'll put my hands up and admit that I'm no regular to the Bobbi Brown party since this is my first product from her. But all in all, I think the shade range is awesome, particularly the colour 'Golden Bronze' (3rd one in from the left). It's a great all over the lid colour, which will make you look wide awake even if we really have only had a couple of hours sleep.

Another great addition to the palette is Pink Bellini (4th one in from the left). It's a great over shimmer colour, which will pick up any colour you've whipped out from your stash. I often like to add this with a flat brush just for the glitter, or in the corner of my eye for a night out / cheeky dinner with the girls. It will lighten up most eyeshadows, but if you want something a little darker, the two shades on the right are great essential colours. The mid brown colour called Earth is good for eyebrows, and the mega dark brown almost black colour (Rich Caviar) is great to line the eyelids when you don't feel like going for a harsh black eyeliner (you feel me ladies).

So all in all, I'm pretty impressed with this palette. It's not my go to palette for everyday, and my Urban Decay Naked Palettes still come out ontop alongside my Inglot and Mac palette, but it's a great small compact palette which will assist you in achieving a pretty easy eye look.

Have you tried any of Bobbi Brown's Makeup?
