For your dose of a Monday Pick Me Up post, of course, is on my capsule perfume collection. I've tripped, chucked and waves goodbye to some oldies and these 4 are the last ones standing. Now, just a heads up, I'm no perfume expert but with access to google, a freaking good cold free pair of nostrils and my fair share of perfume sniffing under my belt we'll see what happens.
Let's kick start this with my all time favourite Summer perfume which I've been ranting and raving about until the cows have came home - Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess. This leaves you smelling all things summer... Coconuts, Suncream, Sea; you name it, Estee's added it. On a cheeky takeaway night in, the all time beauty junkie Lynsey popped round, gave it a sniff and had to order it that night. It's that good. So ladies, pick this up before the end of summer. It'll look just as gorgeous sat in your room over all months plus it's limited edition... No pressure...
Then, the next one is Diesel Loverdose, a present from my ex but a freaking good one. This smells incredible. It has the sweetness of a trusty Britney Spears perfume, but the sophistication of a Chloe / Gucci perfume. It'll make you feel as lady like as us ladies can feel. Winner. Another fairly recent addition is Gucci by Gucci which I purchased, feeling about 4 years older than I am - oh how perfumes can make you feel sophisticated! With the spicy / sophistication it's perfect for a date, girls night out or business meeting. You'll be a #GIRLBOSS (fellow Sophia Amoruso lovers, bonus points for you!) The only down side of this is it's lasting power. If this had the lasting power of a Chanel / Prada perfume, Gucci would be onto a winner.
Now, I've saved my best until last. My well loved, classic and signature smell of the Cacharel Amor Amor. This is always (luckily) is always on offer at Boots and The Perfume Shop. I love love love it. It's got the perfect balance of sweet, sophisticated and fun. It's lasting power is amazing for the price, the bottle isn't all that exciting but it leaves all the more excuse to whack it in your bag and walk round stinking of it. Perfection. Go and give it a sniff on your next outing at Boots, you've probably got enough Advantage Card Points to bag it for nothin'. Bingo!
