THINGS I COULDN'T LIVE WITHOUT

Things I can't live without? Did I hear First World Problems? Yep. I know technically, food, water, oxygen and shelter are really the main things but when it comes to a Beauty Blogger's world there are just those things that our everyday routine wouldn't be the same without. Some more obvious, some more not to much. But if you're a regular to my little corners of the internet then these won't come as a surprise to you.

First up, of course we've gotta stick clean. After the whole washing your hair the day before, endless hair masks and deoderant-ed up I've just got to get my dry shampoo out. My pick is Dove Hair Therapy's Fresh Dry Shampoo as it is just absolutely awesome. By far the best Dry Shampoo I have ever tried. It doesn't leave a residue, has a clean and fresh smell / feel to the hair and scalp, not too expensive and adds a little bit of 'oomph' too. What more could you want right?

Next up - makeup (*pats self on back for making it rhyme*). Of course, we've gotta prep those lashes. Even if I'm not wearing makeup, I just have to have my eyelashes curled no matter what. It just feels weird if I don't. It's my trick to the whole 'I woke up like dis' look, really. My eyelash curlers of the moment are No7's Eyelash Curlers. They are my first ever eyelash curlers and my only eyelash curlers. I've only recently got into gettin' my curl on since my mum said she caught her eyelid before and never had the guts to use one since. It's definitely a miracle worker, much like filling in your eyebrows is too.

Base, base, base. My two must haves for my base is Revlon Colourstay Foundation for Oily / Combination Skin in Buff and Rimmel London's Stay Matte Powder in Transparent. These together just work wonders and are a full coverage girl's dream. They apply so well, can be picked up from your local drugstore and usually fit within an offer, have a great range of shades and last all day. Bingo. If I'm extremely under serious need of coverage, Collection's Lasting Perfection Concealer in Fair is always a good call. Highlighting, covering and neutralising... perfect for pennies.

Going back to eyes is my all time cheat product and must have everyday staple... Mac Woodwinked Eyeshadow I know, I know.. the same eyeshadow everyday when I have 925098249582 eyeshadow palettes... yep you heard me. It's crazy right? I just can't do a makeup look without it. I've started mixing it with other eyeshadows to emphasise the crease and make it have more of a 'wet look' to the lids but a post will be coming on that shortly *cough* did someone say sneak peak *cough*. But this applies like a dream, it's got a real gold base to it, with a brown over lay and a cranberry, burnt red colour which blends into the crease making you look like you're a don at eyeshadow, when let's be honest... I suck at it.

The last one goes without saying... my Marc Jacobs Rose Gold Watch. This baby has been through thick and thin with me and been on my wrist for about all of 2 / 3 years, crazy times. I'm really in need of a new one, but my watch in general is just my staple that I couldn't go out without. It's almost turned into such an essential that it's got to the point that I feel just as weird going out without a watch as I do if I forgot to put my bra on. TMI.
