A TRIP TO CORNWALL

So last week Mother, Father and I all took a cheeky last minute trip to Cornwall. It's not often that we get to go and take a break away from everything. Running our own business, having three dogs and a ton of other commitments it's hard to take a break (and have a kit kat... har har har... outcome the Brook jokes). It's safe to say, I'd happily go and live there again. I thought I'd write a little post about my thoughts, feelings and memories of the trip to share with you guys and also to just have as a memory bank for future when I'm having an off day. Roll the pictures...

As you can tell, Cornwall is just utterly stunning. It's almost like a completely new, different country. Something I've never quite witnessed myself. Yeah, don't get me wrong those lounging by the pool and soaking up the sun holidays are perfect. But for me, just being by the coast, having some open space and plenty of fresh air is just f*cking great... let's be honest.

Whilst we were on our trip, we went to visit my Grandma and Uncle. I haven't seen them for a while, but it was certainly an enjoyable time. My grandma is silly as ever, almost like she's a child again. My uncle, well he's just awesome as ever. With plenty of Rick Stein's eateries around (Note: if you ever go to Cornwall try one of his Apricot pastries from his patisserie, and take a trip down to his Seafood Resturant, honestly one of the best meals I've ever had and my Dad's all time favourite restaurant. Their Blueberry Mojito's are a winner too!) of course I'm currently on a detox which is a pain. But plenty of walking, beautiful views and lovely nights sleep not to mention just the friendly people out there. If only Cambridge was that awesome, a girl can dream hey?

I've had some great memories there and I'm giggling looking back. I'm not feeling the whole going into deep, get the violins out kinda thing on the internet as it's quite personal but let's just say it was awesome. I'd love to go back and do it all again, but back into the work load we go... fun fun fun.

If you've got some dollar, or willing to spend a little more on some accommodation I'd highly recommend a company called Perfect Stays. The service was great, the property was gorgeous and everything was just a million times better than any other holiday home we had stayed in before. We stayed in the property called Pentyak which let me just tell you, absolutely stunning. 2 Million pounds to buy, but worth so much more in my eyes. Stunning. But with lots of Mojito's, pastries and snacks in mind be sure to expect a cheeky 'What to do in Cornwall' post shortly, *hintidy hint hint*...

Anyway, I hope you've enjoyed the pictures and the little ramble which as I'm reading back makes no sense at all really, oopsie. But be sure to share your recent holidays and trips away, or anywhere that you recommend I go next!
