Recently, I've been venturing out to the darker lips - particularly purple toned lips. Nothing I've ever really given a whirl before but I'm well and truly on the purple lips wagon. It can add so much density, confidence and all round kick ass look to any makeup look, outfit and will kit you up for a kick ass night out, photoshoot or even dinner if you get a kick ass formula.
Speaking of kick ass formulas, Revlon's new release of their Colourstay Moisture Stains are pretty darn awesome. They apply so evenly, provide a great wash of glossy yet bold colour with an awesome 'just bitten' lips stain after. What more could you want hey? I went for this purple-y colour, but I'll most be picking up some more in some more nude shades to keep me sorted for a day-to-day basis.
When it comes to lip stains, I'm not saying I'm any genius, but I've tried my fair few. Until now, well kinda in the runnings still gotta admit, are Benefit's Lip Stains but they're more on the pricey side than these. So if you're looking for more of a budget friendly option then Revlon have got your back. They've got a great range of shades too. It looks like we will be waving goodbye to those pricey lip stains and adding this to our shopping basket or laying pretty heavy hints to Santa and your Stocking. Can't blame ya. Winner.
